The following text is an excerpt from a book, that is:
"To Bless the space between us"
by an Irish poet, philosopher, author and priest John O'Donohue.
I want to share with you his thoughts on what it means to finish something and start something else, trusting that every transition involves a new opportunity to create new ones. possibilities.
He reminds us that development has its own rhythm and takes place even when we don't see it. And a change can also be sudden and absolute.
(...) The beauty of nature has its own time, everything is prepared, nothing rushes. The rhythm of surfacing is like a slow beat that propels forward.
Because nothing happens abruptly, we often don't notice the beginning of spring. He's there before we see Him, and then we can't look anywhere without seeing Him.
To evolve is one of the great dreams of everyone, every heart, to change the boundaries, the same sequences, the banality of life, the pain.
And it seems it's not that simple. Often, we choose to stick to the old patterns rather than risk the risk of change. (...)
Beneath the surface of our lives, great changes are fermenting. You can always ask yourself:
where am I at this time of my life? What am I about to leave? Where am I about to enter? What's stopping me from crossing the next threshold? What gift would help me do it?
A threshold is not just a simple boundary, it is a boundary that separates two distinct spaces, rhythms and atmospheres.

The term Green Care covers all those activities related to physical, psychological, educational, or social conservation or support measures in which nature, animals or plants are used.
The term originally comes from English and is derived from the horticultural therapy there. Whereby in the A distinction is made between horticultural therapy, therapeutic horticulture, and social and therapeutic horticulture.
horticultural therapy
In the former, therapy with plants is offered – usually in the context of a garden.
therapeutic horticulture
In therapeutic horticulture, the activities in the garden are in the foreground, and there is no therapeutic structure.
social and therapeutic horticulture
In social and therapeutic horticulture, horticultural activity is also central. emphasis is placed on social exchange.
The IGT:BERLIN uses the term "horticultural experience", which refers to all activities and interactions that take place alone, in a group, indoors, Terrace, green space or garden related to plants that are cultivated, cared for and harvested.
The term "nature-based" sets a framework in which a wide variety of disciplines find a roof.
e.g. garden therapy is a goal-oriented, therapeutic process that can take place in the garden and/or greenhouse.
Forest bathing is no longer necessarily therapeutic, but it has a healing effect on body and emotionality, which has been scientifically proven. Both procedures work together and in the Nature, therefore, are based on conditions and what is available in the corresponding landscaped (garden) or unformed nature (landscape, forest).
Nature-based interventions - a definition
An intervention is always a targeted, planned, conscious "activity" towards a "goal". So I need more information about what the conditions are (without always identifying the cause). know)
and "what" to do. A nature-based intervention has different forms, it can activate, promote, maintain, or even be therapeutic.
Nature-based interventions are based on a targeted approach and use nature in the broadest sense, applying and referring to the things contained.

The first 5 modules of the training are self-exploration. Through the gardening and nature therapy exercises, we explore individual experience and personality structure. Reflection & sharing (sharing the content of experiences in the group) lead to a deeper understanding: This is who I am.
The training diagram shows the different approaches, sections and qualifications.
The advanced training in nature-assisted therapy refers to contents, methods and interventions in the following areas:
Biography work, art therapy, land art, gardening, psychotherapy, depth psychology, sensory training, forest therapy, metaphor work, sharing, mindfulness procedures,
anamnesis. ... more
It is always about working with materials, places, objects or metaphors - with, and in nature.

In landscape and climate therapy, the natural climatic environmental stimuli of particular areas are used in a natural way to accelerate healing. Particularly healing are stays at the seaside, in the middle and in the high mountains. The impression, one's own experience in the landscape, is also emotionally effective (geopsychic effect) Whether lush, barren, rugged or Depending on the geological shape / climatic zone, the peculiarities of flora and fauna, landscapes have a very different effect on the mental mood. The doctrine of the elements is used in many traditions and healing methods, e.g. also in the Trad. Chin. Medicine, the 5 elements with corresponding phases of transformation. In Tibetan Practice The elements of earth, water, air, fire and space are also used for imagination exercises as meditation content in order to gain a deeper understanding of the connections in nature and nature. of being human.
Representational exercises, such as exploring different qualities of stagnant or flowing water (or other elements) are also practiced. Each element corresponds to a state of aggregation and also a sensory perception (earth --> feeling).
Through exercises in experiencing the elements, the sensory areas are addressed and material can be gained on the metaphor level in order to further research and exchange. Neuroscience confirms the effect of imagination exercises, which have been used for centuries in the Tibetan tradition, for example.
